Does Aquilaria trees require pruning ? some criticize it is unnecessary while some prune the trees almost to bald “botak”. My goal is to achieve strong and bigger stem. I manage my farm by pruning the branches from time to time. Aquilaria Sinensis requires frequent pruning than other species since they grow fast and tend to have multiple branches. The planting distance for small- or medium-scale growers are typically narrower, this strategy also requires frequent pruning than planting in wider distance.
