Recovery

It is a kind of healing process. Formation of agarwood is a process in nature through the dynamic interaction of trees and continuous stress. Layer of resinous wood is formed gradually, and this agarwood formation becomes thicker if PERFECT environment is matched.

If the tree is very healthy, where the TUG-of-WAR is won by the tree’s defense mechanism, than most probably the treated bark will end up in white tissue, where the wounded bark has recovered.

Recovery process can be retarded by applying …

• Man-made stress to the tree in stages, 3-4 rounds for instance. The idea is to stress the tree continuously, with new emergence of wounds (energy-sink), tree would have lessor energy to recover the previous wounds.

• Microbial culture inoculant, proper propagation of microbes will impose continuous stress to the trees naturally.
