小小的爐子，點著天然的沉香木，油脂泌出，仿彿可以聽到空氣裡油脂分泌滋滋作響的聲音，微微的，輕輕的，你感覺那香味，才一轉眼，那香味已經鋪天蓋地，這裡那裡，在斗室裡尋求空隙“流浪”去了。 “中國人有一句話說，清洗一個空間，用水用火可能也沒有辦法清洗徹底，但是香有這樣的功能，香可以無孔不入，可以穿牆透壁，尤其是沉香，滲透力非 常強。就好比這個空間，每天不同的人入住，很多不同的氣場，有些人進來為什么不能睡覺，因為上一個人可能帶來很多負面的能量我們不知道。”
“沉香可以淨化空間，也可以安定心神。特別是如果屋子潮濕，瘴氣很多。在能量學裡，一個人要生病從屋子開始，人需要已經被淨化的空間。”
心見聞．沉香不是木 越沉越芬芳
沉香對藝術家來說，有一種飄逸的境界，有一次點了沉香，朋友說沒有嗅到。而另外一位朋友，一走進來就說：嘩，好香的沉香味。沉香，它自在，飄逸，你努力深呼吸，它躲起來；你不在意，它就跑出來。這或許就是法師說的“若隱若無”，不覺察時忽然就聞到了。
Gaharu 沉香 Agarwood 
Interestingly, after talking to some 香道师, I learnt that cultivated Agarwood can’t even make it to the entry level of incense world. Only decades old natural Agarwood is desired in incense world.
Incense manufacturers can not depend on natural wood for long, they know their raw material is depleted drastically. Vietnam as one of the famous incense manufacturer in the world, had banned the export of natural agarwood since 1992, exporting of cultivated wood under CITES permit is allowed. I guess it is hard to get pure agarwood incense nowadays. To get real scent of agarwood, i would rather suggest to burn the agarwood by using charcoal.
“Incense manufacturers can not depend on natural wood for long, they know their raw material is depleted drastically.” That’s why the price is going up drastically. The manufacturers are very happy on this. Do you know any manufacturers using cultivated Agarwood for their high class incense? Furthermore, cultivated Agarwood is not certified if it was safe for inhalation. Nobody knows what chemicals used in the innoculation. Furthermore, no certification on the chemicals used in any of the innoculation is safe for human inhalation. Without this certification, anything made for inhalation is total joke. It is only could be sold on the street in China with the idea “take your own risk” for inhaling the Agarwood scent.
